Money: „Who Survived, Won’t Die“
The real estate agents are not too loud about the reviving market. Though, they do whisper seeing the signs of the crisis coming to an end. No, the housing prices are not rising yet. Revival in the market is conditioned by the growing activity of the buyers.
This year, the real estate market will reactivate, though one should by no way expect the prices to jump. Gedimas Bareika, the President of the Small and Medium Real Estate Enterprises Association is convinced that the housing prices will return to the former heights at the earliest two years later.
There are several reasons for the market revival. First of all, some banks have already started more active credit policy. Their interest rates have well dropped recently. But possibly the main reason is that the prices dropped by 35 percent at the least. The buyers who have the capacity are willing to benefit from this. After all, some are already seeing the end of the downturn in the Western Europe.
Naturally, the end of crisis by no way means that all of a sudden everybody will start succeeding again, and people will buy the real estate without even taking a look at it. However, the businessman is assured that those real estate agencies which managed to survive will definitely go on.
